Appearance
The deep chamfers on the 70mm profiles have been carefully designed to replicate traditional finishes.
This gives all the advantages of PVC-U while maintaining a traditional appearance, particularly if you chose the warm mahogany or golden oak woodgrain finish.
Available in white, mahogany on white, mahogany and golden oak woodgrain as standard.
Characteristics
- The ideal replacement for traditional British timber casements.
- 70 mm depth allows for the replacement of 3" timber frames without a lot of making good.
- 50° bevels give the finished window extremely slim and attractive sightlines.
- Can be incorporated into REHAU's conservatory designs.
Window Reinforcing
- Galvanised steel reinforcement for windows up to 1200 mm high.
- For windows over 1200 mm steel must be used.
Insulation
- Achieves a U-value for a main frame with sash (unreinforced) of 1.4 W/m²K.
- Noise insulation is dependent on glazing specification.
Glazing
- 28 mm double glazing.
- Dry glazed with glazing bead and gasket or a co-extruded glazing bead.
- Internal or external glazing.
- RAUSECUR, a security glazing gasket, is available.
Fittings and Hardware
The S702 system can accommodate:
- A wide range of friction stay hinges.
- Shoot bolt locking mechanismus.
- Standard cockspur fittings.
- All fittings and hardware should be lubricated every six months.
Tried, Tested, Tough
REHAU systems have been tested in accordance with, and meet the highest requirements of, BS 6375 Part 1. Not only that, REHAU systems have also been approved by the BBA.
REHAU also holds a BS 7413 kitemark licence which incorporates BS 5750 Part 2.
